WELCOME...

The
Windchime Inn, a century-old Victorian home, was once a boarding house for car ferry and lumber workers. This home has a rich history and lots of charm.

It is located on a quiet tree-lined street in the historic, port city of Frankfort, Michigan.

Original maple woodwork and flooring combine with antique furnishings to create a warm and nostalgic atmosphere...kind of like visiting your grandparents' home... yet with modern comforts and amenities.

Windchime Inn - Frankfort, Michigan

Accommodations. . .

Two delightfully decorated 2nd-story bedrooms with a shared bath. Each room has a queen-size bed that accommodates two guests.

  • The "Rose Room" is furnished with lace curtains on double, west-facing windows. Pink rose wallpaper galore, and an antique dresser.

  • The "Wildflower Room" faces south and has a view of Forest Avenue. It, too, has a double window with lace curtains. The pale blue and yellow walls, the white wicker furniture, and antique vanity give this room a light and airy atmosphere.

Windchime Inn is smoke-free. Sorry, the resident cat and dog do not tolerate other pets.
